Adam Nazir Ahmed Teladia

Adam Nazir Ahmed Teladia currently works as a Business Travel Counsellor in Birmingham.

Having been born in Birmingham Adam attended a local primary school and then a local secondary school. After completing his GCSEs Adam went to a Josiah Mason Sixth Form College in Birmingham and completed a GNVQ in Media: Communications and Productions.

After two years at College Adam left Birmingham and spent sometime living and working with his family in Lilongwe, Malawi.

After almost a year in Lilongwe, Malawi Adam returned to Birmingham and enrolled to study A levels at Josiah Mason College. Upon completing his A levels, Adam completed a BA (Hons) in Politics and Social Policy at the University of Wolverhampton.

Since February 2003 Adam has been a member of the Liberal Democrats. Adam has served the Liberal Democrats as a Local Party Officer, a Regional Policy Committee Member, a Regional Executive Member, an English Council Member and a Member of Policy Working Groups.

Other then the Liberal Democrats Adam has also worked with the West Midlands Millennium Volunteers Youth Forum, the West Midlands Area NUS, Birmingham Unite Against Fascism, Josiah Mason College Students Union and University of Wolverhampton Students' Union.

Adam is also a member of CentreForum, Electoral Reform Society, European Movement, Republic, United Nations Association and Unlock Democracy.

Adam's interests are Comedy, Reading and TV. Adam's favourite TV Shows are ER, Friends, Judge John Deed, Only Fools and Horses, and The West Wing and Adam's favourite books are The Autobiography of Malcolm X and The Autobiography of Martin Luther King Jr.
