Birmingham, Hodge Hill Liberal Democrats and Ethnic Minorities Liberal Democrats Leadership Election Hustings

12.02.00am GMT Mon 3rd Dec 2007

Just a reminder to colleagues and friends that this coming Wednesday (5th December) the Birmingham, Hodge Hill Liberal Democrats and the Ethnic Minorities Liberal Democrats will be hosting Leadership Election Hustings from 6.00pm at the Park View Business & Enterprise School on Naseby Road in Birmingham (B8 3HG).

The event is open to all Liberal Democrats who wish to hear speeches from the candidates and participate in a question & answer session. For further information please email info@hodgehill-libdems.org.uk

I have yet to decide whether I will be supporting Nick Clegg or Chris Huhne. I have some friends who have decided and have tried to convince but when I met colleagues and friends over the weekend for the West Midlands Liberal Democrats Executive meeting I was surprised to find how many people were undecided. I will have to make my decision at after the Leadership Election Hustings on Wednesday since I will be leaving the country on Saturday and will not be returning until late January.

I wish both Nick Clegg and Chris Huhne the best of luck for the hustings on Wednesday and the remainder of the campaign and I look forward hearing them speak. Best of luck also to Meral Ece (Chair of the Ethnic Minorities Liberal Democrats) who I believe is chairing the hustings on Wednesday.
