The West Midlands Liberal Democrats announced their candidates for the European Parliament elections in 2009 they are:

1. Liz Lynne

2. Phil Bennion

3. Susan Juned

4. Colin Ross

5. Stephen Barber

6. William Powell

The candidates were elected by members of the Liberal Democrats in the West Midlands.

I am delighted that we have selected a strong field of candidates early and hope that they will now work hard to ensure that we elect more Liberal Democrat MEPs at the next elections to the European Parliament.
